Dr Tony Youssef

Dr Youssef graduated from The University of NSW in 1994 and obtained his Fellowship for the Australian College of Physicians in 2006. Staff specialist for Geriatric Medicine at both St George Hospital and Sutherland Hospital for 18 years.He is also a Visiting Medical Officer at St George Private Hospital, Hurstville Private Hospital, Waratah Private Hospital and President Private Hospital.

His interests include:

• Geriatric Medicine – aged care medicine, cognitive assessments, driving assessments, assessing falls, care of the patient with cognitive impairment, haematological abnormalities in the elderly.
• General Medicine - care of the patient with single or multiple medical comorbidities, general internal medicine and all general medical problems.
• Rehabilitation Medicine
• Peri-operative Medicine

He specializes in conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments with a focus on managing cognitive and behavioural issues, multiple co-morbidities, advanced care planning, rationalising medications, evaluating falls risk and end of life planning.
