Melinda Boyd

Melinda specialises in oncology massage therapy with certification from Oncology Massage Training Ltd (OMT). Her approach is collaborative and intuitive – every session is tailored to meet the person where they are, with compassion.

Oncology massage is a specialised form of massage therapy adapted specifically for people who have cancer, are undergoing cancer treatment, or are in recovery or palliative care. Each treatment is highly individualised with adapted techniques, and aimed to improve the wellbeing and quality of life for each client. It is evidence-based, safe and effective in alleviating some of the side effects of cancer treatment, and a valuable addition of care for those living with cancer.

Melinda has a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, a Diploma of Remedial Massage, and is a certified practitioner in Oncology Massage Therapy. She is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and has a small clinic in the Inner West of Sydney.

Her naturopathic knowledge includes a holistic approach to health management through nutrition, herbalism and lifestyle choices.

Consultation charges: $130 per hour
