    **FEE CHANGES**

    As of 11th September 2025, due to ongoing rising cost, Myhealth Doncaster will be increasing our out of pocket/gap fee. This payment fee structure applies to ALL appointments including all review, follow up, results, of any nature- ongoing issue or new, short or long consultations, Workcover and TAC.

    Our standard gap fee will increase from $40 to $50 for ALL patients on weekdays. 

    The reduced gap fee for concession card holders will stay the same at $25 at subsequent visits, on weekdays. For patients with a valid pension card and children under 13 years old with a valid Medicare card, bulk billing is available at subsequent visits, on weekdays. 

    All NEW patients (including Pensioners, Healthcare Card holders or children under 13 years old) incur a once-off $50 gap fee on their first visit on weekdays.

    All Saturday appointments incur a rise of $60 from $50 gap fee, no exception. 

    Procedure gap fees range from $50-$250 depending on your procedures and will require a pre-consult with the doctor who is doing the procedure prior to the day of the procedure. The pre-consult payment is as discussed above.

    Skin checks incur a $120 gap fee, and Skin biopsies start at $100.

    About Myhealth Doncaster Westfield Medical Centre

    Myhealth Doncaster is a high quality fully accredited medical centre conveniently located inside Westfield Doncaster. We host a team of qualified, dedicated and caring doctors who are supported by wonderful caring nurses and committed helpful reception team.

     

    We are located on the first floor of Westfield Doncaster, near the Centre management offices, Country Road and JNBY.

     

    We also provide extra services like Ear suction, Ear syringe, ECG, Full Body Skin Checks and Iron Infusion.

    We have highly specialised doctors that are capable of performing full body skin checks with us here at Myhealth Doncaster – Each doctor has their own routine of completing a skin check, however generally all areas of the skin will be checked using a hand held skin microscope called dermatoscope.

     

    For your added convenience we also accept online bookings, which has the convenience of online cancellation.

    ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

    We are a non discriminatory, inclusive and caring clinic. We welcome everyone. We are dedicated to care and help everyone with respect and courtesy.

    However, our practice have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards any intimidating or aggressive or violent behaviour in the clinic. Any person acting in an aggressive or intimidating manner in the clinic towards our reception or clinical staff or other patients will be asked to leave the premise immediately. We will also notify the police. Likewise, if any person acting in an aggressive or intimidating manner over the telephone, the telephone call will end immediately.  We may also terminate future medical services and care arrangements with any such persons.

    ALL Fees are as of 11th September 2025

    • ALL new patients regardless of concession status are charged a $50 GAP FEE for their first appointment.
    • $50 GAP FEE applies to all WEEKDAY consultations including Face to Face and Telehealth except Children age of 13 (Private Insurance Excluded), Pension Card Holders / DVA Card and Health Care Card Holders.
    • A reduced $25 GAP FEE applies to SUBSEQUENT visits on weekdays if you have a current Health Care Card or Commonwealth Seniors Card.
    • We will continue to bulk bill children aged 12 and below (Private Insurance Excluded), as well as Pension/DVA Card Holders for SUBSEQUENT visits on weekdays.
    • $60 GAP FEE applies to WEEKEND consultations including Face to Face and Telehealth for ALL patients including concession card holders and children.

    Cancellation/No Show Policy

    $50 Cancellation Fee applies if you do not cancel or reschedule at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled GP appointment. In order to be able to consult with a practitioner in future, this fee would need to be paid prior to booking another appointment.

    * 48 hours notice is required for all Allied Health appointments (Physiotherapist, Dietitian & Exercise Physiologist) - A $50 Cancellation Fee will apply.

    Everything you need to know about Doncaster Medical Centre

    • Are you a bulk-billing clinic?
      No, we are a mixed billing clinic. For further information on fees read the "Pricing/Fees" section above.
    • Why is the Doctor running late for my appointment?
      Your doctor may be running behind for several reasons. They may need to take urgent phone calls from hospitals or specialists regarding patient care. Occasionally, some patients require extended consultation time to address their health conditions, which is why it is important for patients to book longer appointments if needed. Medical emergencies that require immediate attention can also cause delays. Additionally, delays sometimes occur when previous patients arrive late to their appointments.
    • Am I eligible for Telehealth?
      To be eligible for Telehealth, you need to have completed a Face to Face consultation with one of our GPs in the last 12 months. If unsure, please call reception for advice on your eligibility and steps available to you.
    • Do I need an appointment for a script/referral/Medical certificate?
      Yes, you need to make an appointment for these services.
    • Are follow-up appointments for results bulk-billed?
      No, our standard gap fee applies to all appointments including follow-ups.
    • Do you accept walk-ins?
      Due to our clinic's busy nature, we recommend booking all appointments in advance to avoid long wait times and frustration. Walk-in appointments for emergencies are prioritised and triaged according to severity. Please book where possible to avoid delays for other patients and yourself.
    • When is my next appointment?
      If you have forgotten the time or date of your appointment, please visit our website at www.myhealth.net.au/clinics/doncaster, click on "Book Appointment," and then select "Manage My Appointments." You will be able to view your appointment time and date, and you can also cancel or reschedule your appointment here. Please note that we have a NO-SHOW fee of $50 if you fail to attend an appointment and it is not cancelled within 2 hours.
