Who is eligible for a free flu vaccination?
Flu vaccines are provided free of charge under the National Immunisation Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged six months and over, children aged six months to under five years, pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy, adults aged 65 years and over, and people aged six months and over with medical conditions that put them at higher risk of serious illness. Consult with your Myhealth GP to confirm your eligibility and learn more about what’s available in your area.
When should I get my flu vaccination?
To give the vaccine time to take effect, it’s best to get your flu shot as early as possible. Getting vaccinated early helps ensure you’re protected throughout the peak of flu season. Don’t wait, book your appointment today.

Pricing/Fees
MyHealth Smith Collective is a Mixed Billing practice. $30 - $60 gap fees will be charged for GP consultations depending on the length of your appointment.
Bulk-billing (GP consultation) is eligible for those aged 16 years and under, Health Care Concession cards, Pension Concession cards and Commonwealth Seniors card holders.
Overseas Private Health Insurance and Private Health Plans are also accepted, with gap fees ranging between $50 - 60 for consultations.
Fees for skin biopsies and excisions differ from regular consultation fees.

Non-Attendance / Cancellation Policy
Non-attendance or cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment will result in a 'DNA' (Did Not Attend) being recorded on the account. After two instances of DNA, a $50 cancellation fee will apply, and the patient will be unable to attend further appointments until the fee is paid.

Are you a bulk billing clinic?
We offer mixed billing consultations Monday to Friday, with gap fees applied on weekends. -
How is my consultation fee processed?
You will be charged the full amount of the consultation fee to your credit or debit card at the end of your consultation. We then process your Medicare rebate on your behalf electronically. The rebate should appear in your bank account within 1-2 business days.

What does private billing mean?
Private billing means that patients will be charged an out-of-pocket gap fee for the consultation on the day. We will continue to bulk bill DVA/Age Pensioners, Concession Card holders, and children under the age of 16.
