Meet Dr Min Ko
Dr Min Ko graduated from the University of Medicine, Myanmar, in 2013. Following graduation, he completed extensive rotations through government hospitals before working as a General Practitioner in Myanmar for five years, building a strong foundation in comprehensive primary care.
Since relocating to Australia in 2018, Dr Ko has been providing comprehensive General Practice care to patients in Southeast Melbourne. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021 and remains committed to ongoing professional development to provide evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Dr Ko has completed a Graduate Diploma in Child Health (GDCH, 2025), the Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP, 2022), and Professional and Advanced Certificates in General Dermatology, Skin Cancer Medicine, and Skin Cancer Surgery. He has also completed Family Planning Victoria training in reproductive and sexual health. In July 2026, he became a SCOPE Certified GP, further strengthening his expertise in evidence-based weight management.

Dr Ko is passionate about building long-term relationships with his patients and providing holistic, high-quality care across all stages of life. He believes in partnering with patients to achieve the best possible health outcomes through preventive care, education, and shared decision-making.
Outside of medicine, Dr Ko enjoys spending quality time with his family and has a keen interest in gardening.
