About the Role

Looking to take the next step in your medical reception career?

We're seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist (2IC) to join our friendly team at Myhealth Auburn. Working closely with the Practice Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic while continuing to deliver outstanding patient care.

The best part? You'll work Monday to Thursday (8:00am-6:00pm), giving you every Friday off and a 3-day weekend every week.

Day in the Life

• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients in person and over the phone
• Support the Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of the clinic
• Coordinate appointment bookings, diary management and waitlists
• Assist patients and doctors with general enquiries
• Process Medicare and private billing accurately
• Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
• Provide leadership and support to the reception team when required

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• Previous medical reception experience within General Practice (1-2 years preferred)
• Best Practice experience (highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of Medicare billing (DVA, WorkCover, HICAPS and Private Health preferred)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to step into a leadership support role
